I'm at home watching poker, and packing for my next trip to the Dominican Republic. This will be my 5th trip to D.R. This will be my 2nd trip going alone. My friends can't go for a variety of reasons but I feel that it's a good thing. It's nice to share your vacation with friends but you can't be adventurous with them because you have to take into account that it is their vacation too. When you are alone you do things on your terms, wake up when you want, go to the places you want, you have to meet new people, and most importantly you have to try new things.
I will still miss my friends. I will specifically miss my wingman but this is my trip, my adventure, and it's time learn more about myself.
